More convenient than grabbing a bunch of 5mm UV light-emitting diodes. Emitter only means you can choose your own heatsinking method. Plenty of compatible drivers available from this site to use.Top is squishy.Does all those things that people do with UV…Worthwhile if you do things with UV lighting, else get a traditional blindingly-bright LED more in the visible spectrum that humans are sensitive to (or whichever species you wish to disturb).

If you are reading this, you are interested in modding a light to UV. So DO IT you will be surprised!I slammed this LED into a \”MXDL\” (SKU#08788) light, and it is TWICE as bright as my Mini Maglite with it\’s IR LED bulb that cost me about $40! This and the flashlight together were less than $20. And it makes for a great dye tracer source. It does require cooling, so I suggest pulling an old LED from a star and making sure to heatsink it.
