Description: I purchased this kit to replace my aquarium lights that had recently burned out. My only concern is how easily the lights can detach from the power supply (there are four wires that plug in, but I haven't figured out how to lock them together, if a locking mechanism exists.) The lights are bright and responsive, and the remote supports six user-programmable colors on top of the pre-programmed ones. I only needed 3 meters to adequately light my aquarium.
DIY'ers: To remove the plastic coat on the top, cut slice down to the flexible pcb with a razor blade at each end point, bend the pcb to spread the slice out, then pull the slice away. Digging into the plastic is a messy business, but slicing down and pulling it away is fast and clean. The LED's have solder contacts every 3 diodes....
