  Description: I bought this decoder along with 2 of LEDwholesalers 16.4ft RGB Color Changing LED Flexible Strip, and LEDwholesalers 12v 4 amp 48 watt ac power adapter. Also a few assorted connector pieces and extension cords. This allowed me about 32' of LED color changing ribbon, DMX controlled for less then $80. The color profiles were a little skewed, but that was due to my controller since the color read true when set to stand-alone settings.
  
  the fade profile was not the smoothest, (i'm a lighting designer, so this is important to me,) The fade-out got a little shaky at the low end and switched off at the very low percentages, but for this price i could look past that. The ribbon needed some protection as it was in a high-traffic area, and the decoder needed a sheltered area to be mounted. Perhaps next time, i'll get the water-proof ribbon as it provides more protection.
  Aside from these things, i am very happy with the price and result.
